Good product for the short term.
Its a good product, it does exactly what it was designed to do. Easy to use touch panel and easy to read led panel. However, Being the unit has only been in use for a month, we are seeing issues with the touch panel. The membrane covering the push button controls is starting to roll up. high salt code even with less salt than required and shuts off! not happy.
we have had for almost two weeks and have yet to get it to work without giving us a high salt error/code. we added less than the amount of salt called for and are still going to have to drain the pool at least half way and refill and see is that works. if not i will be calling the company. the parts that it is made from look of good quality. it looks well made. its a pretty simple design. i like it other than it wont stay on for more than a minute because of the high salt code. i was wondering if i should buy a more expensive one. now i am not sure if i made a wise decision. its a lot of extra work we shouldn't have to be doing since we added less than the amount of salt required we thought it would be ok. so far not impressed with the product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Love our salt water pool
This will be my third unit. I bought it as a precaution as my current unit is going on 6 years and the display just went out. It still works great. I've had my salt water pool for 11 years and now I guess I'll have it for another 6 years. This is easy to use, the initial set up trying to figure out the “sweet spot” is the most challenging-(getting the right amount of salt) I cheated, been going to local pool dealer for advise and testing water to see where the levels are. Covid pricing but still worth every penny!
I bought this for 3x the normal price because of supply and demand pricing during Covid 19 but it was still worth it because I don’t need to buy or add nasty chlorine to the pool now. We don’t even notice it’s salt water because it’s only 10% ratio of salt compared to the ocean but it’s still best to wash off metal parts at least once a week to prevent rust. Intex Krystal Clear Salt System
I have a pump and sand filter with the salt system all in one but it stopped making chlorine so the the best option was to add a new salt system. Works great, pool is back where it should be with some minor adjustments. I have my pool water tested at pool store and everything is good. I unplugged the first electrode Old system so it don’t know any different. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. To convert back to chemicals would have cost me more than what this system cost and a whole new system with pump and filter would have been $300. Just want to put that out there. This is a simple system to operate, just check your levels and adjust accordingly. Only thing I spent on chemicals was some alkaline and stabilizer, $20.
