Ok for skinny pencils
I purchased this to help home schooling. It’s really good for skinny pencils and delivers a very sharp point in no time. It doesn’t fit typical primary school grey leads or colouring pencils. The auto feed is a novel idea, but it doesn’t stop. So it’s very quick for kids to turn pencils into tiny stubs. Very good quality sharpener
Very good quality sharpener, Excellent value for money, I have not broken one single lead in it yet. The sharpest pencils I've ever seen. Easily dismantles for quick cleaning. It does mount to the desk but i still hold the body of it to keep it stable. I think it is that good I brought a second sharpener to give to my daughter.

Sharpener works well. But does clog up easily with wax based artist color pencil and needs to be cleaned regularly and soft core pencils tend to break more easily, otherwise works well to get a sharp point. Better for graphite and student/adult color pencils. Really good for all pencils including pastel pencils
It really does sharpen pastel pencils to a fine point, which is much easier than using a knife. So this has saved me a lot of time. Quality Manual Sharpener
I purchased this as a replacement to my Derwent Super Point Mini and have zero regrets. Quality metal construction and blades that provide a quality long point with no effort. However, like the Mini, I find the included desk clamp okay at best and prefer not to have mine clamped, requiring me to hold the top of the sharpener as I turn the handle to sharpen the pencil. (Photos of point produced compared to a standard metal sharpener you'd find at Big W, etc).
