I suffered from depression and this book helped me accept and let go of my negative thinking, in combination with other reading on mindfulness. But Eckhart really resonated with me because of his common sense approach, all that is important is the present moment! we are one with it. This has been a great relief to me, I wish they taught this in schools. I was never one for spirtiualism, but this is more of a philosophy than spiritualism to me.

If you are open to new concepts and new ways of thinking, I’d highly recommend this book. I have read this book once already, and it is always by my side. Really helped open my eyes and made few changes in my life, for the better. Took 4 tries when i first read it as it was difficult to get my head round, but once i did i couldnt put it down. Really is a very good book to own.
