Don't think gender comes into it, this is just a beautiful watch for a man or woman. It's simple, but good looking. I like to wear a bigger watch than what is mainly on offer to women. This size has the bigger face I like without looking like I'm wearing 'my dad's watch' Lovely band that is lined to ensure it lasts. Comes in recyclable packaging & is an all round winner.

I bought this watch for the bold black background with broad hands making it highly visible and the reliability of the Citizen brand. No more battery changes with the solar charging feature. Only a little heavier than my old quartz watch so no need for weight training! I find the band very comfortable although a little short. So far so good I will see how it goes when the humidity of the Build up to the Wet Season arrives. I am very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this watch.

I have had my watch for a month now and am very happy with it. Its style is understated, which I much prefer. I like its very clear dial, although its luminosity at night could be better. It is a very comfortable fit for my small wrist and the band is better than I expected, although I will eventually replace it with a s/s mesh band. Its adjustments are very simple and so far its timekeeping has been great. I can't comment on the durability of the watch yet, although I expect it can take few knocks if you're an active outdoors person. And the eco-drive function is a real bonus at this price point. For the price this watch is hard to beat. Recommended.

Nice watch. Minimalist styling and black face, which suits my bland personality. Have another Citizen Eco-Drive watch that keeps great time, so no reason why this shouldn't do likewise. Can't see the point of buying a chunky chronometer suitable for solo sailing round the world or polar exploration when your furthest trip is to Starbuck's or your mother-in-law's house. The watch is comfortable, unobtrusive and does the job. Having the day and the date is handy. Also, the numbers. I want numbers on my watches. Fine time keeping device that will suit me. Oh yes, I bought one for my partner. She's thrilled.
I bought this watch for my husband. He had wanted a good pilot watch for some time- a simple, classic, good looking watch- a watch that performed but one without an expensive price tag. He loves this watch - it is light weight , with clean lines and is solar powered. He wears this watch in the cockpit of an Airbus A380. He wears it at night whilst flying over long sectors so any concerns he may have had initially about the watch being solar powered have been allayed. My daughter who is in the RAAF came home the other day - saw the watch, tried it on and loves it as well. Is it a unisex watch? - Yes we decided it was so I am just about to buy another one for her.
