Looks like a good product, but throttle linkage is different. Do your research, use all the numbers on your original to find a replacement.
I order this carburetor for a Craftsman 22 HP 42" cut mower. Apparently there are several versions of this carburetor under the model number listed. My original carburetor has a built in spring on the throttle. This new one does not have this and therefore would not work for my application. It seems to be a good product, just not exactly what I needed. If you are ordering a NIKKI carburetor from here or anywhere else, this is a check you should make. There are several number sets on these carburetors, so I recommend that you do your homework, there are differences under this models number listed for this product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very disappointing experience!
Dont buy this if your engine specifically calls for the 796227 carburetor! Choke lever wasnt same as original as the Briggs Carburetor and wouldn't close as it should, intake manifold gaskets were the wrong size and metal carb baffle plate wouldnt allow throttle plates to open once installed, so had to purchase OEM parts. Spark plugs didnt match the originals. Had to spray starting fuild to get it to run. The only good thing I can say is that it did run great once started. This carb would work fine when installed on the proper application, but you shouldn't have to buy OEM parts to make it work!

This carb is the manual one, does not hook up to that automatic choke, I bought the manual one intentionally because I wanted a manual choke, I hate that automatic linkage scheme, so was NOT the direct replacement for my Husqvarna mower.
