I purchased this book for my son that is starting Year 9 in Victoria. He is currently home schooled and I believe in an open classroom and crossing curriculum when possible. The story is a great way to introduce economics/social studies and Literature (especially such a distinguished writer) to 14 year olds . As we live in a democratic country, most teenagers have no idea how lucky they really are. They need to understand that not every country is this blessed. I also recommend reading his other books, like 1984. The book was delivered in pristine condition. I highly recommend this book for all teenagers.
