Hello all.....Coming from the North of the Netherlands known as Friesland , I can relate to feelings of the Occupation by the "Krauts" , as my father was in the Resistance for the Duration 1940 to 1945. His experiences ,only became known to us by searching for his actions. He had a group of 32 Men with a Leader ,and as a surprise, he also had a German soldier , an elderly soldier who did not agree with the , so call "Fuhrer" , and passed info to assist the Resistance Group. My Father , never appeared in group photos with the rest of the group as , if any one is captured , they would know who the Nazis and SS were looking for. These books bring back the stories of people who were not afraid to do what is right and there were quite a lot of them. It would have been very dangerous for them as ,even the Dutch people had traitors as well , the followers of a man who thought he was Hitlers favourite son, namely :Musert" and the followers of this traitor , were many, however when the war ended , he was picked up by the Resistance and Dealt with , plus the major followers as well.
