I picked up this book at my friend's house. It was casual browse through a cook book whilst we waited for the kettle to boil. There was something about the recipes and the photos which entranced me. I knew I was only half listening to Lyn, but I couldn't stop turning the pages. I deliberately closed the book, with a calm and steady resolve. I knew instinctively that this was a cook book I had to have. Later that day, as I browsed through eBay, there was the book I simply had to have! It was an excited and spontaneous purchase and I could hardly wait for the delivery. In the short time since this book first enthralled me, I have cooked about 12 recipes and they have all produced stunning results. Where was this book when I desperately tried to cook for 14 unsuspecting friends...those were the nights I needed this copy of Delicious.! I doubt if my friends will even vaguely consider coming for dinner again. Some experiences are simply too painful to think it might be different the second time around. The title is misleading: actually it is quite incorrect. The book should be recalled and renamed "Seven nights a week". This cook book is fabulous...do yourself (and your disillusioned friends) a favour and,not only buy it, but use it. Every day.Read full review
