This book is an excellent example of a collection of data that is interesting, thought provoking and well written. The terminology is precise, but not boring; technical but not over the average understanding of the reader base. After reviewing a variety of books on the subject of mushrooms, this was the most complete and reasonably priced collection of usable information that I found. I would highly recommend it to those who are seeking alternative methods of healing and immune enhancement as well as those seeking to expand their knowledge of a relatively unknown, misunderstood, form of life. There wasn't any part of this book that I would criticize. It is that good.
There is a lot of info in this book if you are into mushrooms and how healthy they are for you.So glad I purchased this book.

Bought this as a reference for our Church's medicinal mushroom plantation. I wish he put stronger cautions in about potentially toxic mushrooms, & had photos instead of line drawings. There really is a difference. Decent writing. Good reference.
