  • Phantasy Star Online Is Awesome

Hardly a story line, Repetitive gameplay, dated graphics, and sketchy camera angles. But why can't I stop playing it?!! This game has you collecting, upgrading, and leveling up constantly. I can't stop looking for random rare items. It is alot of fun to play with two or three players on Gamecube as you share items, help out with magic, or heal your teammates. But what keeps drawing me back in the Easter hunt aspect. This game isn't for everyone. Its slow and plodding. The controls are funky. The graphics are muddy. But there is alot of FUN hidden under all this slime.

  • Watch it

This game is a great old school classic. But be warned. If your trying to play this game split screen with a buddy be prepared to die alot. The difficulty scales way too high and most enemies kill you in one hit. It makes dark souls look tame

  • One of my all time favorite games!

I was so excited to find this game for such a reasonable price. I've wanted my own copy of this game for years and whenever I've seen one it's been around $80, a bit out of my budget for a used game unfortunately. Though it was used, the game works perfectly in my wii system and I'm obsessed. Shipped right away and arrived before I expected!

  • An old classic in good condition

This is one of my favorite games of all time, I bought a second copy to play with my girlfriend who lives an hour away as another option when hulu and netflix aren't cutting it for indoor entertainment. I may replace the case, or clean it because it's dirty, but that was in the description so exactly what I ordered, shipped on time and in one piece. Thanks!

  • Love this game!

I used to play this game all the time when I was 11. Playing it again last night made me realize that, while it's not as perfect as I remember it to be, it's still really great. The graphics haven't aged that badly, considering it came from the Gamecube / Dreamcast era of games. It has online gameplay (though I'm sure the official servers are shut down by now, even assuming that you have the rare ability to connect your Gamecube to the internet), but the real star of the show is local multiplayer. Yes, it has the ability to let you play the online multiplayer mode, locally, with up to four players via split-screen. Still one of my favorite features. The difficulty scales per player, providing better loot and EXP the more players are playing at the same time, and also ramps up enemy damage output and HP. This game is definitely one of my favorite Action RPGs!

  • Phatasy's my Stars, just not online anymore

I had this game probably 10 years ago and remember playing it with 3 friends constantly on a 20 inch screen. Seeing it on a real tv is amazing and I'm so glad I found it again. I don't know when Monster Hunter first existed, but, now that I've played both this and that, the gameplay seems similar in a lot of respects. Get Quest. Do Quest. Turn in Quest. Repeat. Combat is stilted, but intentionally, to make you focus on timing and accuracy. It obviously looks a lot worse, relatively, than it used to and being on a much larger screen doesn't help that, but it could be a lot worse and I'd be willing to admit that nostalgia makes it very bearable.

  • Nostalgic overload

Look man. I've been trying to find this game in perfect condition for under $100 for about 4 years. I grew up with this game. It plays like nostalgic garbage and I couldn't be happier. Thank you

  • A classic from the golden age of loot RPGs

Still as good as I remember. I played this game since the original release on Dreamcast and it still holds up today.
