Michael Newton is a past life hypnotist, who stumbled on 'life' between past lives, where the Soul is resting, recovering and re-examining the life they have just experienced. Using transcripts of actual sessions, Michael Newton queries the subject on all facets of this between life existence. It is easy to follow, the chapters do not have to be read in sequence so you can just skip to the subjects you find interesting. I did think that, had I not read the first book, it may have been a little confusing understanding the process that Michael Newton uses. I found this book enjoyable and enlightening, it made sense of many things I have seen in life that have puzzled me, such as 'soul mates', feeling very comfortable or uncomfortable around newly met individuals, my two year old daughter's talk about her "other mum".
