  • Great book!

What can be done with a bastard prince to keep him in his place and keep him loyal to the king? Make him yours. Completely. This is Book One in one of the best series I've ever read. The characters are complex and interesting. The world is fascinating and revealed naturally throughout the story, not just info-dumped on the reader. Mysteries and intrigues abound. Everyone is hiding secrets, some more deadly than others... and always, Fitz is at the centre. Catalyst. Changer. Most highly recommended - along with the rest of the series.
