This book contains quite a lot of fiction and sensationalism,the men depicted in this book were all mostly honerable men who helped almost any one needing assistance in many ways,none of this is mentioned in this book. Carring out the tradition of honerable Trade Unionism,these men and were just trying to earn a living,the Criminal element mentioned is still in this City of Melbourne as is in almost any large City,the Fraser Government and the Costigan Royal Commission closed this Union down under a misdemeanour for an excuse as the corruption was spread far and wide. The work these men performed in the most torrid and horrid conditions and "these words do not accurately describe these conditions" has now gone off shore as no other Australian workers have the fortitude to carry this work out.Read full review
