I purchased this book as a Christmas gift for Karina. Naturally she has written the review which follows; I love this book, just what I have been searching for. There are not many books out there on this topic, which describes nutritional deficiencies and how you can treat common diseases & ailments by feeding minerals & vitamins.Pat has a great depth of knowledge in this area. It's really getting back to basics. Instead of feeding highly concentrated feed, that can be expensive, give horses access to natural minerals & vitamins. Thanks Pat for all your knowledge. The book is full of examples and interventions which help to bring the book to life, along with easy to follow action/instructions on how to achieve optimum health for your horse/s. The information is just as pertinent to human health as well as the horses health. A must read Highly Recommended.
