Paradise by Toni Morrison (Paperback, 1999). Toni Morrison, is a recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature. In Paradise she tells the story of Ruby, a town of 360 Black people who have chosen isolation for themselves in the face of pervasive racism, hoping to preserve the purity of their utopia. A nearby former convent, which now houses wayward women, is the focus of blame for the impure and bizarre events taking place in Ruby. This paperback is own very good condition, please see photos.
