I love Canon products, and I love film photography! This camera gave me everything I need! I am able to light paint with it too! ^-^ This is the best camera I've owned from Canon so far. The batteries are hard to find, make sure you find the correct battery type and don't give up! I searched for weeks and I found the battery I need! This is also an amazing beginner camera, for those who hate manual all the time, but hate having automatic all the time too! You can switch between modes, you have many different options, if you buy this camera with the manual, you'll learn how to do multiple exposures, I just L-O-V-E this camera! I cannot begin to tell you how much this camera has saved my butt with my photography business and classes!

There are 2 things broken when I received the camera. 1. Battery compartment broken. I wasn't able to load battery normally as the cap has fallen off the body. I used some duct tape to fix that. 2. The shutter is broken. I can't use any shutter speed faster than 1/200s because it only opens half way and incorrectly covers a part of the film.

This camera, although it is a film type is still a very good high quality camera.I found (you tube)videos that describe its action and all necessary film, batteries, processing is readily available. There are features that would cost way more on a digital camera such as interchangeable lens, automatic as well as manual modes.Over all I am quite happy with this purchase.
OH, my it is wonderful it looks and acts just like brand new, I am 1000% Happy!! Thank you!!

We've been using a Canon EOS Rebel digital camera for a couple of years, and my daughter wanted to try her hand with film photography. My old Minoltas weren't working well, so we agreed to buy a film camera. As the film Rebel is such a close match to our digital Rebel, it was a logical choice for us. It performs exactly as expected, easy to load/unload, the focusing features we're used to, etc. This was EXACTLY the right camera for us. And her photgraphs are exceptional.
feels great in my hands, it takes excellent pictures, and I love the zoom.

For less than $25 for two cameras including shipping it is a super bargain. Using with 35-80 and 22-55 canon zoom lenses. So far everything is working perfectly. Thanks.

I bought this camera to take still action shots of the band Billy Blasters. My Canon digital just was not up to the task, I would miss a lot of shots. I just got back my first 4 rolls of 400 film and I am so pleased with the results. I could freeze frame the drummer and the guitarists very well. I purchased the manual also and have the detailed instructions for the product. I also purchased two lenses one telephoto and one standard at a great price and they were easy to find on eBay.
If you're already invested in the EOS lens system and are looking for an inexpensive film camera, then the Rebel II is probably the best bang for the buck you can find. How inexpensive? I picked mine up in mint condition for $10. It's a relatively simple camera as far as features go, but any user of modern digital Canon cameras will be immediately comfortable with the operations.
