A great phone for those with diminished hearing.
My purchased item was a new, Uniden D3097, expandable cordless telephone with a digital answering machine. Item was as described, pictured and arrived on the estimated date. After battery charging, I verified many of the features I would use and they all worked well. Some of the features that I wouldn't use (such as pulse dialing, wall-mount bracket) I did not try. Clarity on this phone is very good. Easy for my olde hearing to understand different voices and the volume is easily adjustable. Also, works with a headset. Multi-featured phone with good quality
The phone is quite easy to use, although it will take a little while to understand all of the features. I need to print off the manual I downloaded for it. I would prefer to have the whole manual to come with the phone, but that's the way it is now. The sound is clear. I had ordered a headset for it so I could talk without holding on to it and they work great together. So handy when on hold. Very glad I purchased this. Delivery was as expected. Better sound.
Got this handset because the previous two phones kept dropping calls. A friend recommended this phone. Installation went well and the voice sound is much better than that of the previous two handsets. Twice the phone has dropped the call, though. This makes me think the dropped call issue is with the phone company, but they continue to tell us it is the phone...but this is the third phone because of this report from the phone company. Best for my needs.
I have been purchasing this phone for years (my third purchase). I tried another phone but went back to this uniden phone. It has a headphone jack which is a must for me. The sound is clear. Time will tell
If this phone operates as well as it looks it will be an excellent purchase. This is a Christmas gift for my 98 year old mother-in-law that has a problem hearing on her present phone and I hope this will help with that problem.
