Pros: Tripod looks and sounds extremely cool when it unfolds. A crowd pleaser. It is light. Cons: fixed hight, shaky if legs not completely appart. Some advance planning takes care of these shortcomings in most situations. Lighter cameras work reasonably well with this tripod. Keeping the tripod folded stretches the rubber band inside the legs, over relatively sharp metal edges. I try to keep legs extended when tripod doesnt need to be folded for storage. Hopefully it will extend the life of the rubber bands inside the legs.
I really like this tripod. If it wasn't so light and small, I absolutely would not carry a tripod at all. It's a little short (48"?), but that's ok. Easy set up and take down. I have a medium size digital camera and it feels steady. The wider the legs are spread, the more stable it is. It can also be used as a monopod if you don't spread the legs. This tripod has a ball-type head that allows the camera to be at any angle, not just pointed straight ahead. Absolutely recommend.
Works as advertised.

Great tripod for little and light cameras. I'm using it with my LX100 and it seems to be great for that.
Bought it as a gift and he seems thrilled with the product. Especially that it is easy to operate, is so light weight, and stores well with his camera bag.
