Slik Able 300DX Tripod with 3-Way Pan Tilt Head
easy to set up legs....easy to use in pan situation. setting and locking focus is easy, accurate, and quick,...very stable and strong. nice height range. it can hold some decent weight. camera mount is nice. easy to twist on with finger TIGHTLY...no need for using a coin like some other types.I prefer this style of tripod over the ball head and twisting legs style. it isn't super lightweight, but this means it is ideal for long exposure/windy situations where you need to keep things stable...Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Not quite as expected, but glad I got it.
I was glad to get hold of a slik tripod because I had been using one for almost 20 years and was glad to find a compatible second one, which I needed. This one (ABLE 300 DX) is more stable and sturdy than the previous one (SH-705E) and the heads are compatible. But the old one has click mounts for the extensible legs, whereas this one has screw mounts. As a consequence, it is a bit more tedious tto handle and to adjust the extension of the legs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
