When I first bought this driver I couldn't wait to take it to the driving range. But I could only occasionally get a really solid hit. I started choking up the club and it became much easier to make solid contact. I took it to a club builder and he measured me. I am senior with a swing speed of about 80mph. I am 5'10" and my wrist to floor measurement is 36." He checked the club and noted that it was almost 47" long and had a swing weight of D4. He cut it down to approximately 44" and gave it a swing weight of about D2. Now I can hit it much better and I really like it. After these adjustments, I give it an excellent rating. The moral of this story is this driver was a bargain priced driver, but you still need to check with a club fitter and see if its right for you.

Broke my shaft on an identical driver. It was cheaper to buy a new driver than buy a shaft and have it installed. The product was as advertised and was shipped the same day.

I tried this driver when it first came out and really liked it. I felt at the time that I could not afford it. But over the years the price came within my range. When I found this club on ebay I jumped at it. After playing 15-18 rounds, I believe it is perfect for me. Lighter and with the 12° club face, I am getting 10 to 20 yds more distance. It is also very forgiving with off center hits. I have also had no trouble with the longer shaft. At my age (77), I don't think I'll ever need another driver unless it breaks. Then I'll find another XL 270.
This is one of the best drivers I've ever hit. Tee it high and take a nice smooth swing to load up the Miyazaki shaft and watch it fly!

I bought this club because of the weight (the lightest) and because it was a draw club, which would help correct my slice. This club has exceeded all my expectations, I have gained 25-40 more yards on my drives, it corrected my slice, I am right down the middle of the fairway on my drives. I am a female golfer and pay with guys, and I am out driving my competition. Yahoo, thank you Cleveland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
as i got older by the time i got to the 18th hole my old driver was so heavy it felt like i was swinging an anchor.... not with this new one.... i still feels light even on the last hole of the round.....

I purchased this club because my old Nike did not have the pop it once did. My first outing I did not hit real well but every time since I get 20to40 more yards per drive. I love it. I tried the new Taylor made and several other new drivers but this was the best of all. I love the color and looks. It is designed after the persimmons. Great driver. I let my golfing buddies try it and they had the same results. I should have kept it to myself. Now they want buy one and that will take away my advantage. The only thing different to me is the great sound I get from the Nike is not there on the Clevand. However I will take the extra yardage every time.
I took 1 1/2 inch off the shaft and regripped with a Golf Pride Tour wrap. Club is light as a feather and easy to control. Ball jumps off the face.
It's taunted to be the lightest driver on the market, which is supposed to relate to more distance. And I am looking for more distance. My best hits have produced a bit more distance, but not as much as I was looking for, and not as much as the Launcher was supposed to give me. The club is easy to give you a draw, and its almost hard to slice the ball. I guess I'm still looking for that "magic" club. Or maybe its just me.
