This machine is something I've been eyeing for a while, and as somebody that does heavy duty sewing daily, i was ready to upgrade to something as hardcore as me. I broke 3 domestic modern machines over the course of 2 weeks because what i was sewing was just to much for them to handle. so far the pfaff 130 has stood up to all the denim and leather i could throw at it, and i've only had it for about three weeks. it's a beautiful machine and runs so well!!

This the best Zig-Zag machine I've had the pleasure of using. It is very smooth in its operation and preform is great. I had a model 138 before and kick myself for selling it. Well you can't go wrong with a Pfaff!!!! Best buy Its very quiet and does a great job of sewing on heavy denim and light leather.

There is nothing bad about this machine. I use to have one about 7 years ago no where near as great as this one. I love it

Bought 2 Pfaff 130-6 machines. These are real high-precision workhorses for home or light commercial work, "German-made" in the very best sense of the phrase. One is very nice, in a portable case; works well. The other is a bit weathered, with no case, but has the "coffee-grinder" embroidery attachment, which is why I bought it. I found a portable case and some nice replacement parts for it on eBay, to make it look nice and shiny again. Both are high-quality machines, and use common Singer 15x1 needles and Singer 15 bobbins.
Strongly built easy to handle once you understand it, performs great.
