    I ordered this system board because my HP HDX16 CTO 1200 laptop was having boot problems that seemed to go away when the system was warmed up. A technician suggested it might be a heat related problem on the system board such as a solder joint expanding or a component getting tired. So, I shopped around and ordered this board and installed it and it worked exactly as had the original board--effectively eliminating the motherboard as a suspect. So, I finally tumbled to the idea that the boot problem was due to a failing hard drive that was slow to spin up. Being slow, it wasn't ready when the bios first looked for it but, after spinning up, it was ready when a restart was initiated. So, after a clean reinstall of Win7 Ultimate and upgrading to Win10 Pro, I replaced the original Seagate hard drive with a 500GB Solid State drive (SSD) from Samsung. Rather than reinstall my original board, which would have been a pain, I just left this one in and it has been working fine for several weeks now. The SSD is awesome, too, and it's like having a new laptop. Now, if I could only get some cheap RAM to bring it up from 4GB to 8GB...
