  • Used Nikkor 80-200 F2.8 purchase

So far so good. Images are sharp, sharp, sharp. It works fine on my D300 and D7200 but for some reason the images seem sharper on the D300 which is odd. After experimenting with the AF fine tune on the D7200 it seems to be better but I don't think I have it 100% yet. I still have to check if focus speed is faster than the Tamron 70-200 F2.8 that I have and will do so at the next event I shoot but so far I'm happy with my purchase. Except for one or two scuff marks the lens is in good condition.

  • Great lens

Great lens, sharp, fast and great value. May not have the range of the venerable 70-200mm but better value. Solid lens which means it is on the heavy side especially in a smaller body but worth it.

  • Awesome lens , really fantastic shopping experience

I love this lens, it working properly and it functions well than I expected. It looks like new and through well maintained. The photographs are also sharp without dirty spots. It could switch the focus mode and aperture as well that I don't have anymore words to describe how great it is.The seller is really amazing friendly and replied all of my questions. I don't know about other, but that the best seller I ever met in ebay and it was definitely a nice shopping experience!

  • Nikon Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8

The Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8 is one of the sharpest lenses you can buy for a Nikon DSLR. Despite its age it still outperforms, or is equal to, modern lenses. Its build quality is like the one of a tank. The price is acceptable and reviews have convinced me that this lens will accompany me for many years to come. NOTE Before you buy it, be aware that over the years there are around a dozen versions of this lens manufactured. If you have a modern Nikon DSLR make sure you have 10 metal pins/connectors at the bottom of the lens mount. If you have less than the 10 pins the lens might not autofocus on your camera. This means that YOU HAVE TO make a lot of research in order to understand which version of this lens that fits your specific camera body. But when you know which version that fits your camera, do not hesitate to buy it from my seller. He was a great experience. • Wow.

Sometimes you hear lots of good things about something and its a little dissappointing when you finally get it. Well the AF zoom Nikon Nikkor ED 80-200mm f/2.8D lived up to the excitment. The image quality is just striking when compared with my stock lens or anything I've ever owned. I am definitely a newcomer to photography and was recommended this lens for shooting indoor sports with poor lighting. This one fit all the criteria and was affordable and it was worth what I paid for it and more. The low light performace is exceptional and sharp even at high shutter speeds which is exactly what I needed. I use it on a Nikon D7200 and it attached and functions perfectly. The weight seems like a non issue unless you plan on running a marathon with it. Its really not that heavy. I now know how photography can get so addicting when you see what decent equipment can do.

  • Love it!!

I cannot believe how fantastic this lens is. For a much more affordable price, you get a lens that is just as sharp as it's newer and more expensive 70-200 counterpart.
