Author Biography
Cynthia Harris Tademy is a well-known actor/director in the Hampton Roads, VA area. She debuted on the big screen in original, award-winning film shorts FLOWERS and RPS (Rock-Paper-Scissors) with Regent University Productions. Cynthia also appeared in the short film, CYCLE, which won the Audience Choice Award at the 2008 Mid-Atlantic Film Festival, Norfolk, VA. She performed at the Generic Theater (Norfolk) in that theater's final production on 21st Street, Ain't Misbehavin'. When the Generic moved to the Chrysler Hall location in 2010, she performed in Roald Dahl's The Witches. Other Hampton Roads theaters Cynthia has performed for are Theatrix Productions, The Hurrah Players, Little Theatre of Norfolk, Little Theatre of VA Beach and Peninsula Community Theater, Newport News. She directed The Miracle Worker for the Little Theatre of Norfolk. She earned her BFA in Drama from the University of California - Irvine and is a United States Navy retiree. Cynthia lives in Virginia Beach, VA and has 2 loving brothers, sisters-in-laws; loads of nieces, nephews, cousins and a cat named Lilo.
