Exactly what I needed. replaced this item and now have HOT water again, not luke warm. Much cheaper than getting a plumber around. A simple process to turn off the burner, turn off the inlet pipe, drain the hot water out. then removed grub screw from side of valve, pull out old valve (in my case half was missing/broken within the system). Push in new valve, tighten grub screw. open the inlet water pipe. reignite burner. (Youtube have 2 or 3 videos specific to this process.)

Just needs instructions. This is a different design to the old valve which always breaks in two and mixes cold with hot no matter what the setting. The broken off half stays inside somewhere! Remove grub screw (faces towards the back of the unit) pull out the old valve. Push new valve in and replace grub screw. Tighten screw till it just bottoms out then back off a little to allow valve to turn. Done.

It is great little thing to save the old leaking hot water system. Quality looks good, but under that woking environment, I don't understand why they don't just use brass or other metal instead of plastic.

Great stuff, saved me heaps to call someone to replace as it’s easy to install after the old one leaks.

Replaced a very worn out one, this fits perfectly and restored the HWS back to it's former glory. Just be careful removing the old one as it can break apart and make the job very difficult.
