The IM50s have a fairly large profile, especially for anyone coming off of Beats or any similar bullet-style earphone. It's not a bad thing, though. It's just something that users might need to get used to. That should not be a problem, though, as the sound quality from these high-end, low-priced earphones is way above par. Highs and mids are clear and present, and there is a healthy amount of bass underneath for those who enjoy their music with muscle and thump. I also own the IM02s, which are quite different from the IM50s. Although I love my IM02s, I find myself reaching for the 50s when I really want the lower ranges of my music to growl forward. The bass in the IM02, while present and clean, is held back in order to support more mids and highs. I recommend the IM50s to anyone looking to get the most out of their pop, dance, techno, electronic music. Not so much for jazz, classic rock, podcasts, opera-classical, or anything else where the vocals are most important feature.Read full review
