Author Biography
Myles Baldwin is a horticulturist, one of Australia's leading landscape designers and curator of the Australian Garden Show Sydney. Trained at the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney and Government House, Myles developed an interest for a broad diversity of plant material and a passion for period garden design, which led to a postion as head gardener at the historic Victorian cottage Bronte House in Sydney. Myles' company, Myles Baldwin Design, a landscape architecture and design studio based in Surry Hills, Sydney, produces period and contemporary works in urban and rural settings across Australia Parliament Speaker's Garden, the grounds In 2005 Myles began working in the media, first as a presenter for Channel Nine, and then as the garden columnist for Sydney's Sun Herald. In an Australia- wide poll in 2009 Myles was named, in the environmental category, as one of the nation's 'Top 100 Young Leaders'. He is a regular guest and popular speaker at garden shows across Australia and a contributor to the garden media.
