Tldr; If you are looking for a miracle product that can put baby to sleep, this is not the one; if you try to put baby to sleep by saying "shu-sh" for more than half a hour and want to find a replacement, this could be a good fit. What the product does in a nut shell is a recorded "shu-sh' sound that plays repeatedly. And you can control the length and volume of the sound by twisting the top and bottom of the product. And that's it. Does it worth $50? Probably not. There is a Baby shusher app in the App Store cost less than $10, and does exactly the same thing. (which unfortunately not works that well either) However, if the concept works for you, the product has a good quality.

So far so good. He has used the shusher for all his naps today. I've been able to put him down and get things done around the house. I hope it works overnight too. Great quality product and it came with batteries, ready to go straight out of the box.

So this has been a really handy product, I never had one with our firstborn and with our second we were given it as a gift. I'd never have bought something like this because you never know if it's going to work. With our first born we had to pat him and shush for literally up to an hour before he'd fall asleep, and I think the shushing is what made me and my partner the most frustrated. Well when we received this with our second it took me a while to actually start using it because I kept forgetting about it.. to begin with it sortve worked.. it obviously didn't work when he was really upset.. nothing calms a baby when they're really upset except for being held or nursed.. but when he was going through a fussy time during a leap where he was on the brink of being half asleep and almost waking himself up.. this was really awesome.. and still is! it sort've quitens them down because there's a soothing sound that can go above their crying (unless they're really pelting it out). he's now eight months old I can breastfeed him, put him in his cot on his side and if he flips to his back and starts crying I'll switch it on, pat him and he'll go straight off to sleep. it's honestly magic putting him to sleep compared to our first baby and I honestly thank the shusher. it's easy to operate in the dark , has an option of continuous, 15 mins and half hour. No it won't switch your baby off like a light when they're in middle of the witching hour/PURPLE crying agitated and wriggling around and it's a bit silly to consider it will.. but if you use it at the right time when they're between unsettled and sleepiness it defiantly works. it works for us 80% of the time. i defiantly think it's worth the money, it's saved a lot of frustration that's for sure!Read full review

The shusher works if it my baby is grizzly but she won’t fall off to sleep with it. But with the ‘PURPLE’ crying or the crying that comes with colic is not affected by the shusher at all (which is why I bought it). She screams uncontrollably for several hours at a time and is not able to be soothed. (She’s been checked by the GP, she’ll grow out of it in the next couple of months)
