After reading a few reviews I was a bit worried, but I must of got a good one lol. It is a heavy machine to push around when not in self propelled mode but I found just to use the self propel to get it around the yard. The height adjustment lever needs more clearance from the rear wheels. Also the throttle lever is a bit flimsy and needs to be mounted on something solid instead of it on the plastic battery cover. Also I found after turning the mower off, you need to set the throttle lever in a specific position to restart using the key start feature or else it takes a few times of turning the key to get it started again. The catcher needs to be solid plastic like a lot of name brand mowers because there is nothing to grab onto the material when emptying it out, it can be a bit of a pain for someone who is of elderly age. The speed control should be seperate from the throttle as it can be a bit too fast to run behind it at full throttle, but a good walking pace the throttle is just above idle and could be less powerful on thicker grass,But for the price that I payed $303 I can not complain as I have major back and shoulder issues and besides all of the nick picking on small things that could be improved to be better user friendly I found it very easy to use and barely broke a sweat. I’m also thinking of purchasing another one for my elderly parents as I think it’s great value for what you get. If the manufacturer could make a few small changes like I have pointed out ie: A solid catcher, seperate speed control gearbox ( self propelled speed, not engine speed) and a solid mount for the throttle lever, this Mower would be the bees knees for price.Read full review

Machine is very flimsy and basic, Mowing Deck very light weight and flexes if lift rear wheels off the ground.Battery Box is not very sturdy where it bolts onto Handles. Wheels seem very flimsy and loose, they wobble alot. Ignition Key doesn't stop the Motor. No inline Fuel Tap to turn off fuel supply to the Carbie. Can't find an Oil Drain plug on the 750SXi Engine. The Manual could be more Model specific. Says the SXi motor doesn't require regular oil changes, but makes no recommendation as to how often it should be done??

I have had my 750sx now for just under a year now. I mow my lawns once a week, my yard is average size and had a Victa before and never replaced blades in approx 3 yrs but had a work place accident so I needed a key start, the blades are now blunt (filed them 3 times in that year period) ive been waiting for replacement blades now for just over 6 weeks! After being sick of waiting for so long and my beautiful lawn becoming so long I'm lucky to have great neighbours who let me borrow there mower, I took the 750sx to my local mower shop they worked out that you can use Victa 19"blades (even know the 750sx is 18") using the same bolt but a new nylon nut. They are $20 for a pack of 4 compared to Edison's $42 which are made of cheap metal and don't last anywhere near the time that the Victa blades which are half the price. So if your over waiting for replacement blades just go to your local mower store and get them. Another idea is to get a whole to base plate made by Victa ($40) and never have to worry waiting for Edison's to so called have them in stock.Read full review

overall it is working well except for the key start that got caught on a branch and was destroyed, I was able to replace it with a starter button. The plastic on the side shute has already shown damage. Build quality of the plastic parts is a worry with long term use.

The advertising talks it up well. Cheaply put together. Collection bag falls apart easily during 1st use. Self propelled handler dislodges from frame holes. Accelerator cable was bent in packaging therefore unable to run at speed, first mow was slowly done on idle speed until a diagnosis was made. Grass catcher is very dusty as it is material, a full plastic catcher is needed for this machine. Save your money and put is towards a good branded mower.
