An old man sits in his room, t moving, t speaking, just sitting... just watching. A son has moved his family away from their home and friends, to a new town filled with hostile faces. A fifteen year old boy is surrounded by strangers in a new school... and a cruel, bleak thingness is beginning to take hold of him. Soon the town will kw the pain off loss, of unhappiness, of unrelenting misery. And as an epidemic starts to grow - a spate of teenage suicides - ather terror being begins to emerge. It lives in the wall, in the corner of the room and has hair as black as tar, pure and bleak and teeth that drip with menace.
