I replaced a 16 year old HP 2300DN The brother was much easier to install.. Mac and PC find the printer without issues and load drivers. Smaller than the HP footprint and complete with ethernet as well as wireless so very good. Now I have only printed a few pages but the barcodes are working better on printed postage labels.. which is important as I do lots of posting with ebay. Print could be a bit darker but I have not turned up the density setting. Paper handling is fine. But the now ancient HP was much faster on first page out.. not a big deal but the brother is slow to warm up.. the HP was near instant.
