Basic big STRONG useful camping survival blade with no frills and a hollow handle to store stuff. Excellent! One notch under a machete's usefulness around the camp for chopping duties but MUCH lighter! General cutting duties are easily accomplished with the wide blade. Stabbing? Be Careful! No finger-guard! The BIG bonus is the hollow handle which turns this knife into a usable spear head or assagai with the blade point at the centre line of the spear shaft, so excellent for throwing or controlled thrusts. I find the Cold Steel escrima stick great as a legal carry walking stick and with sandpaper and a couple of rubber caps, an excellent shaft for this blade. Sheath is well fitted and secures well to your belt or strapping. The fire making flint in the sheath socket is also of good quality. If you are serious about a multi purpose blade and spear head, get one! You will be handing this one down to the next generation!Read full review
