The burners are great with the wind resistant design. Heats quickly. I also bought the Coleman hot plate that sits over both burners with an oil drip tray, this makes it a really good setup for camp cooking and cleaning. The only thing that could improve is the burner controls are not highly accurate, they’re a bit soft with the dial. This makes it a bit hard to get a low heat for simmering. Other than that 👍🏼

I did my research before purchasing this unit. I expect limited temperature control. I expected to have to buy an adapter to use my 4 & 9kg POL connection gas bottles. I expected what I knew. I didn't expect there to be no adjustment in temperature. In fact when you try to adjust the temp down, the gauge just moves back to its previous position. This is something I can live with, as I bought this for the stove aspect (I'll still be taking my weber gas grill with me on trips). The other thing nobody mentions, is the surface you place your pots/pans on for cooking, is very slippery, and no matter what pot/pan you use, they slide around. Make sure you're using this on a level surface. If camping, do your best and know what to expect. The chassis is sturdier than competition which you would expect for the higher price tag. Still happy with it even though only giving it 3 stars. Requires temp control that works and some form of grip on the cooking surface for the extra stars. Maybe even to come with the $10 adapter to POL considering it's advertised in the description.Read full review

This is a BIG camp stove, so it is more suited to camper trailer or caravan use than for a quick setup campsite. A standout feature is the built in wind deflectors that eliminate the need for those awkward windshield "wings" common to most other camp stoves or the need to find a sheltered spot to stat cooking. Good quality build and operation, and I would have given it five stars but the cheap and nasty tin and wire lid locking catch. Shop around for a best price, I have seen these advertised for up to $70 more than I paid.

Only negative comment is the gas control - VERY limited range from Low to Hi - change in gas flow and hear output occurs with just few degrees of rotation NOT even close to a quarter of a turn - STUPID!! when the control can go thru 360 degrees.

I have used over a dozen different camping coolers over many years and this one is definitely the best. It boils water really quick and is not affected by wind like all the other brand cookers. I have used it on about 20 occasions and it's all good so far. Made of good quality and not too heavy or difficult to set up. I use a larger refillable bottle that lasts for about 2 weeks using it three times a day. The only down side is that it is difficult to keep the flame small so you don't burn food. The best way to overcome this problem is to turn the knob on the cooker down as low as possible and then slowly turn the valve down on the gas bottle until the desired flame is achieved. (This restricts the flow of gas going through the gas hose.)
