Dans le cadre de mesures dimensionnelle et thermique sur des objets chauds, il a ete mis en evidence l'apparition de perturbations, accentuees a de hautes temperatures (>800C). Ces perturbations sont liees a la presence d'un fort gradient thermique dans l'air se trouvant autour de l'objet chaud. Ce gradient thermique dans l'air implique un gradient d'indice de refraction, ce qui entraine alors une deviation des rayons lumineux. C'est ce qu'on appelle communement l'effet mirage. Les resolutions des capteurs de cameras devenant de plus en plus grandes, ce phemene, autrefois indetectable par les cameras, devient tres preoccupant et necessite d'etre pris en compte. Le but de ce travail a donc ete dans un premier temps d'estimer experimentalement (developpement d'une experience originale) et numeriquement (methode de lancer de rayons) les erreurs engendrees par l'effet mirage sur les mesures de temperature et/ou dimensionnelles, ceci a ete realise pour les longueurs d'onde du visible, du proche infrarouge et de l'infrarouge. Dans un second temps, une methode semi-empirique de correction des images est presentee et testee, montrant les possibilites de cette methode.
