Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Panel Meters
After fitting your connectors to the watt meter, you are ready to check your usage. My choice was to fit Anderson style connection. Mainly due to this is the manner my solar panels are joined. So if I have any doubt about supply or usage the Watt meter can be joined into the circuit. Readout was immediate, giving all the readings I need to know to be aware of supply levels. A broken wire can cause battery levels to drop, fridges can stop working without your knowledge. This applies to those of us who use solar power while travelling, or camping. An ideal tool for the kit of keeping my panels supplying the power I need. Simple straight forward operation, no need for a manual to read and try and understand the operation.

This unit provides me with all the information about watt/amperage usage to enable me to plan my caravans solar and battery requirements. The unit is solid and robust and the display is easily read. The unit is also a good fault finding device being able to check voltages. I have installed small alligator clips onto the unit for ease of uses and to enable inline installation to read amps.

This is a very easy to use but very informative little device. It is very handy for use in small solar power installations where you might want to know the power going into or out of your battery or loads. I've used them to check the voltage and amps coming from solar panels, and going to to the power loads. Using it is incredibly simple, you just wire it into the wires in parallel. The unit displays current voltage and amps along the wire, total amp hours and other data. The text is large enough to be read without glasses. It also has a back light so you can see the display in the dark. I've used about 5 of these on small solar set ups. One failed, but it was installed in a remote village in Fiji and the locals were doing weird stuff with my wiring despite me constantly telling them not to, so I am not sure if it was user error or product error. At any rate, it still conducted power even when failed. Build quality is also very good, it is in a very tough little case. I've only used it on 12 volt systems, but it reads at least 36 volts as that was the power coming into my system. It is for use on Direct Current systems only, not alternating current.Read full review

Great product but would have liked to have had some instructions on how to use auxiliary power. YouTube saves the day again!
