Compared to my old Dyson DC35 handstick, this is one powerful machine with excellent debris pick-up and great additional features. Fantastic vacuum with one small challenge
This really is the best vacuum cleaner I've used including both corded and cordless. It's fantastic on both hard floors and carpet and the dust bowl is easy to empty. I very occasionally get a small electric shock because of the position of the charging port in the hand grip. My main challenge is the battery capacity. I like to use the maximum vacuum and you only get about 6 minutes runtime. It's less than ideal but manageable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy to use and efficient stick cleaner
Have been using the Dyson stick vacuum for a few months now, it is easy to use and I am always amazed how much dust, lint and pet's fur is collected. We also have a top of the line Miele which is now semi retired as the Dyson is much easier to use. Unhitch it from the charger and off you go. The only down size could be considered the usage per charge which is about 16 minutes in normal mode, less in turbo mode. This is also a plus as after 15 minutes I am ready to stop. Power brush head makes a huge difference
It picks up a lot! Going past the max fill mark happens so quick that I have to stick my fingers into the container to get hair and fur out. Easy to use and change attachments. Battery life is ok but not great. Does not like really fine saw dust. Great little gadget
The up side: Its light to carry and so easy to move around. Empties easy. Easy to clean. Great to get to those hard to reach places other vacuums cant. The Down side: I have to use on extra suction all the time with animals. Love It!
Wish I had brought this years ago. Very powerful, lightweight easy to use, so handy to have instead of getting out the big vac. The only downside is the small dust cylinder, have to empty it more often, but getting it on sale was a bonus so I'm not complaining. I would definitely buy another Dyson when I need to get a new one, but with the bigger dust cylinder. Lightweight and strong!
A great little vacuum with a good amount of suction. I love having a vacuum that I can easily carry around from room to room, and even out to the car. Table surfaces and window sills are a breeze as well. The battery life is a bit short, but I can usually finish the whole house if I go quickly. And splitting up the vacuuming over a couple of days isn't a big deal for me as it doesn't take very long. Carpets on Saturday and hard floors on Sunday. Dyson Absolute V6 a Gem!!
Love this Dyson Absolute!! So easy to use. Canister could be slightly larger but easy to empty and clean. Simple to empty into the bin. Great to have the two different head units for floor types and the smaller cleaning head is useful for couch and bed.
