Installed this inverter in my motor home to run a microwave and a GPO for charging laptops and drone batteries. The install will include a battery isolator but I haven't got that yet. I thought I would need to switch it off via the isolator all the time to stop it draining the batteries but it looks like I will not have to. The remote control panel fully switches the inverter on and off. When off the unit draws just 16mA and surprisingly switched on but no load it draws just 760mA. I was expecting up to 2A so I am very happy. The microwave is 800W output, at 1150W input and my power meter was showing 1260W consumption by the inverter so the efficiency is around 90%. Ran heavier battery cables than those supplied as I needed them to be longer. Also ran a longer network cable for the remote control which fitted in neatly to the motor home control panel. Comes with a complete set of spare fuses as well. Only time will tell as far as the life of the inverter, but it is very well priced so I am very happy with it so far.Read full review

Too early to discuss pros and cons in detail. It is here, it arrived promptly and in good order, and it is doing the job it was purchased to do. Longevity is an important factor and it is too early to say.

Have been using it for a few days and am really very pleased with how it has worked for 240v power tools

Working well driving 1500 w hair dryer and also 750 w microwave (not together). Standby current is 1.1 amp (not less than 1 amp as stated) but the remote control inside the van means it can be switched off easily when not in use.
