It might be the program I use, but it seems to be not recording to the PC as well as it could. This is a copy of a Behringer UCG. The driver disc I recieved was broken in half, and when it was mentioned nothing was offered to replace it. The original Behringer driver can be downloaded, but maybe this is the conflict. I cannot rate this product highly unless it can be replaced and a good manual is supplied with it.

It took a long time and lots of downloads and so on to set this up. The software included did not really work. In the end it was a very unsatisfactory and unenjoyable experience, and the low cost means that it's not worth the time and effort return the unit for refund. At least it's only a very small fraction of the cost of the name brand product, I can't be certain that the same criticism applies to the name brand device. This one is not recommended.
