I have to ask why the D and G strings crack their windings about .5cm forward of the bridge bone. I have used the 3 sets on 3 different guitars, a Takamine a Guild D55 and Guild D50 same problem and that is mostly happening toward the end of a 4 hour gig. The cracks result in the strings start buzzing and then sound dull compared to the rest. So you know I use banjo picks over the sound hole when playing folk style and use JD .60 plastic picks for rythum.
