Good sound and lightweight. Handy to carry in my pocket and with a AAA lithium has lasted three long haul flights so far...45 hours. Replaced some NC over the ear headphones I bought at an airport which though fairly light I found tiresome to wear on my really long flights. The clip is also one of the best features as well as using it for phone calls as it has a mike.

I had an earlier model pair of Technica in-ear headphones which I loved and unfortunately left on a plane :). Since then, I have had several pairs of other brands and now this new Technica model; none of which have lived up to expectations. On this pair the in-ear reception became intermittent after just a few months use and while I still struggle with them, they are hit and miss at best. This seems to be a common problem with many types and brands.

good: sound quality was pretty good (not great tho)- slightly lacking clarity- highs were a bit too high and bass was very slightly muffled. noise cancelling was also okay- won't block out all sounds. You'd notice sound around you reduce by like half only tbh. bad: heavy and annoying to wear. Ergonomics not very good, earbuds were uncomfortable and didn't have a good fit, so noise isolation was also fairly poor (in comparison with other earphones). overall: due to poor design, noise isolation dragged down the noise cancellation. I've worn earphones that have no nc but has good noise isolation due to its snug fit into my ear canal and feels on par with these earphones. You will notice that ambient sound will disappear (i.e, hum of the train or bus), but its usually not enough. If ur in the market for noise cancelling- go for something else. I would invest in a pair of headphones.Read full review

On long international flights, the over-ear noise-cancelling headphones make my ears ache after around 8 hours. With these in-ear noise-cancellers, I can chop and change depending on how my ears are feeling. While they are not $300+ Bose, they are amazingly effective and comfortable for their price. Having a lead rather than wireless is a bonus too on long flights as there is no need for battery recharge :) Though they have the ability to receive phone calls, it's neither here nor there for me, so can't comment on mic quality. Would I buy them again if they broke? Absolutely.

Great value for $100. Noise cancelling is excellent, and battery has so far lasted much longer than the 60 hrs stated. Comfortable to wear, and good sound quality. Very happy with them.
