A great little Mapper
A great little unit. Not as easy to "get to know" as I was hoping, but all good now. (I am getting on a bit!) Apart from the usual trip logs, etc, it is great for reading Waypoints on land and generating a title map with TOPO info etc, on the PC, with great print outs.

Good unit and useful
I bought this unit to deer hunt and found it quite useful and helpful. I would say that the fact it comes without maps is a little painful. It's not exactly user friendly at the outset. But it enabled me to find camp a few times when I was a bit disoriented and gave us a solid idea of the land we'd covered. I have no doubt that it will come in handy as I hunt with it in the future.

A nice upgrade from the eTrex 10
I started out with an eTrex 10 which I was running custom maps on but got sick of dealing with the extremely limited storage, so the logical choice was to move up to another model in the same line with more storage and SD card support. Coming from the eTrex 10 the 20x is a nice upgrade, the screen is still just as readable in spite of being colour rather than monochrome and it's also that bit faster and more responsive. My primary use-case is Geocaching so bear that in mind.
