I can start by saying yes, that I would buy it again. It was not at first what I was expecting,as I was looking for something to identify finished gemstones when I come across an unknown batch of them. Instead I got that plus a book you can actually lie down on the beach and read for enjoyment. It's full of facts you probably didn't know about many gemstones, and of course has loads of color plates showing what the stones look like when faceted/finished and ready for use. Although there's nothing I actually disliked about it, I would have liked several photos of each finished stone in various shades and from various angles and lighting conditions, and with the stones shown larger size for more ease of comparison with actual stones I might be trying to identify....but that would have required a much greater use of color plates and pages. I'd still give it five-stars.Read full review
