Built well, heaps of power, maintenance a must with this saw & the air cleaner isn't easy to get too but super happy with this purchase, would recommend!!

The saw is powerful when working, however, it tends to leak more bar oil during operation than it should. It tends to lose power & idle roughly and this is due to where the air filter is located - UNDER THE SAW!!! Not only is it easy to pierce the outer housing mesh element when placing it down (punctured by sharp objects), the saw sucks in much of the dust which causes it to block, quickly losing power, then idling roughly as it struggles to breathe. It necessitated for me at least, cleaning the air filter EVERY tank of petrol to keep it happy. Why they placed the air filter there is anyone's guess, but it's a PITA and also prone to being damaged (outer mesh cover) when being placed on the ground, have to be mindful not to place it on ANYTHING other than a flat surface to prevent damage.Read full review

The saw worked well when I first used it. It had a fair amount of power and cut well. However the air filter design was not good which soon caused trouble. The air filter is at the bottom of the saw behind the chain drive sprocket (not very accessible and in a place where dust will be drawn into the motor.) The saw pulled a large amount of dust through the motor which caused scratching to the cylinder, rendering the saw nigh on impossible to start and run. I would not recommend this saw.

I couldn't be more impressed with the chainsaw,it's truly a power house,it rips through the biggest logs absolutely effortlessly..my only problem with it is why the hell would anyone put the air filter underneath it so when you put it on the ground to start it,it gets a gut full of dirt in the air cleaner...

Heavier than I expected but still quite manageable. It has more than adequate power for fresh timber and I havent yet tried it on large really old dry timber. For the purpose and price I purchased it I think this saw for it is really good value. I dont know how it would stand up to full one commercial use but for my purpose it is great.
