After graduating from Cathedral High School, he attended college at UNC Greensboro where he met his wife, Sherri. While in college, he was an All Conference soccer player on two NCAA national championship teams. He continued his education at Northeastern University, where he earned a Ph.D. in ecomics. Professor Pantuosco has published over twenty articles in professional journals.
