When I 1st received it I had at actually google Venturi vacuum force, simply because it has a clip on section in the middle of the brush area that looks like a part is missing!!! But it does the job quite well as long as it's fully submerged and the water is not moving too rapidly. For spa's which I use mine for it is very handy however the brush head design can be a little annoying trying to get into curved seats for example. Aside from that. It's as advertised.

Works as expected. The rod is a tad flimsy once in the pool/spa but ok. Picks up fine sand and big leaves with ease. Suggest to make a 2m short hose piece to attach to unit then attach your hose to that. Me Likey :)
