Additional information
As the title implies, this is a substantial collection of soul with extra helpings of grit and pain thrown in for good measure, corralling tracks you probably don't own, making it ultimately a good catch. Included among the 20 selections: King Floyd's "Groove Me," Little Sister's "Somebody's Watching You," Dee Dee Warwick's "Suspicious Minds," Beginning of the End's "Funky Nassau," and King Curtis' "Changes," as well as evergreens from the Persuaders, Jackie Moore, Aretha Franklin, Betty Wright, and Tyrone Davis. A good buy, one you can't go wrong with, and a good fit for most musical collections. ~ Andrew Hamilton
