I find that my 3 cats tend to not chew their biscuits as much as I would wish. So the purpose of this dental care biscuit is that they chew and their tartar is removed by that action, and the action of the biscuit texture. It appears that the front teeth are perfect, but the problem lies with the back teeth and these are the ones they are not using for chewing. They love the taste of these biscuits and so I am hopeful that SOME of them get chewed by the back teeth and will do their job but after a month there seems to be no change in those back ones where the gum disease will occur. I am willing to persevere for another few months to see if there is an improvement.

Although very expensive/kg compared to most other dry cat food, the cat really likes it and it is not too high in kilojoules compared to other teeth cleaning food. The vet says that her teeth are remarkably clean compared to other cats she sees. The cat has been on it since she was 1yo, and as a rescue cat, her teeth were a bit tartery. Whether it would help a cat with very dirty teeth, I wouldn't know.

Expensive, but my cats love it and it is good for them. They have 10-15 pieces a day as a treat. Healthiest treat on the market.

Great product. Cat doesn't eat anywhere near as much as supermarket cat food. Cat not as thirsty afterwards. Works out cheaper than buying direct from supermarket.
