You tend to either love or hate Nik Kershaw. Most of his work is quirky, and not as immediately accessible as the hit "Wouldn't It Be Good", but once you get into a receptive headspace, his work is startling and intriguing and extremely enjoyable. Normally, when a hit single is not entirely representative of an album, I recommend people listen to the album at least once with the 'offending' track put last in the sequence, but the single in this case fits so perfectly where it is that this isn't all that helpful. There are some tracks on this effort that I still don't like, but I learned long ago to ignore or skip those. The rest are delights, and well worth the price.
