Southside Johnny is a great, yet sadly overlooked, white soul singer, responsible for some of the finest bar band rock to ever emerge from the East Coast. Many fans point to 1976's I DON'T WANT TO GO HOME, 1977's THIS TIME IT'S FOR REAL, and 1978's HEARTS OF STONE as Southside Johnny And The Asbury Jukes' artistic peak. This is a hard point to argue after hearing the high quality of these three discs. This box set is a true collection of Southside Johnny classics, as evidenced by such tracks as "Trapped Again," "I Don't Want To Go Home," "The Fever," "Love on the Wrong Side of Town," and countless others.
