Compact Unit with good features
Quick & easy to set up, just plug in the HDMI lead to your TV & the media hub is ready to work. The remote makes it easy to use the media hub & it's good that it can read a number of different types of files off a USB. Have used it on 3 different models of TVs & gives a clear crisp picture. The main issue is that it does not read an external HDD larger than 2TB. I also have a Kaiser Baas Media Hub KBA03051 this unit allows you to copy, move, delete & rename files on an external source. Great Media Hub
For those wishing to screen their favorite movies or pics in HD format, using external hard drive, USB sticks or memory cards, either on television or video projection, these Kaiser Baas Media Hubs are hard to beat both in picture quality & reliability. Unfortunately, they are no longer available brand new, but some can be picked up on ebay either refurbished or good second hand. This media hub by kaiser baas is their best unit Unlike its descendant model,this 1 is easy to set up and easy to use with a full capability regular old skill style no fuss remote(not a mouse style set up with an arrow on the screen) HOWEVER the remote is as delicate as they come ,so it means if you drop it...its goneskis Super super fragile remote which is nearly impossible to replace with no available code for a universal replacement. Horrible.
Not even 2 months after I get it, it started refusing to work. Sometimes it refuses to turn on. Other times it won't turn on, on the tv part. All the cords and plug in parts are fine.
